Metrobus detours this weekend and next week

Buses will temporarily reroute for special events and utility work

Metrobus will detour several routes this weekend for special events and an underground utility project.

• Metrobus route W2 will detour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 21, around Mellon Street SE between 4th and 5th streets SE, for a community festival.
• Metrobus route 4B will detour from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 21, around Pershing Drive between North Glebe Road and North Thomas for a community festival.
• Metrobus routes 10B, 22A, 23A, 23C will detour from 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 22, to 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, on North Stuart Street between Wilson Boulevard and 9th Street N for underground utility work.
