Metrobus detours this weekend


Buses will temporarily reroute for special events throughout the region

Several Metrobus routes will detour this weekend for special events.

Friday, October 7 through Tuesday, October 11

  • Bus routes 13, 32, 34, 36, 54, 63, 64, A11, A42, A46, A48, P6, S2, S4 and V8 will detour from 8 p.m., Friday through 3 a.m., Tuesday, October 11, around Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., between 9th and 14th Sts., for the Taste of DC.

Saturday, October 8

  • Bus route 70 will detour from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday around 7th St. NW, between S and T St., NW (northbound lanes only) for road construction.

Sunday, October 9

  • Bus routes 7A, 9A, 10A, 13F, 13G, 16B, 16G, 16K, 16P, 25A, 32, 34, 36, 52, 54, 74, 80, 96, P6 and V8 detour from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sunday around Washington Blvd., the Memorial Bridge and Independence Ave., SW. for the Army 10-miler.
  • Bus routes 70 and 74 will detour from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday around 7th St., NW between F and H St., NW for heavy crane lifting operations.
