Metrobus detours this weekend


Buses will temporarily reroute for special events

Several Metrobus routes will detour this weekend for special events.

Saturday, October 22

  • Bus routes 13F, 13G, 32, 34, 36, 52, 54, 64, 70, 74, P6, S2, S4 and V8 will detour from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 22, around the Washington Monument Grounds and surrounding streets for the Best Buddies Special Olympics Challenge.
  • Bus routes 70, 90, 92, 96 and G2 will detour from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., around the 2200-2600 blocks of 6th St., NW for the Howard University Homecoming Festival and Parade.

Sunday, October 23 to Sunday, October 30

  • Bus routes D3 and D6 will detour from 10 p.m., Sunday, October 23, to 6:30 a.m., Sunday, October 30, around F St. NW, between 5th and 7th Sts., and 6th Sts., between E and G Sts., for the Washington International Horseshow.
