Metro seeks input on W4 route service evaluations


Transportation agencies, customers to discuss service issues, potential solutions

In cooperation with its jurisdictional partners, Metro will host a community meeting on Wednesday, February 1, to continue discussions on the Deanwood – Alabama Avenue Line (W4) Service Evaluation Study. At the community meetings, the project team will discuss preliminary findings and potential service improvement concepts.

The meetings are part of ongoing study to improve Metrobus service on some of the region’s most heavily used bus lines.

Customers are encouraged to attend the following public meeting to provide input on the evaluation of the W4 Line:

  • Meeting: 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, at Cooper Lane Elementary School, 3817 Cooper Lane, Landover Hills, MD 20784.

All members of the public are welcome, and no advance registration is required.

The format of the meetings will be an “open house,” where participants can come by at any time between the beginning and end of the meeting to offer their input. There will be no set time for a presentation. The open format is intended promote a direct dialogue between Metrobus riders and project staff.
