West Hyattsville update 3 - All weekend track work cancelled

All previously announced weekend track work has been cancelled for the weekend of July 6-8, 2012.

Metro is advising customers traveling to Nationals Park this evening to consider using Capitol South Station on the Orange and Blue lines as an alternate to avoid Green Line delays.

At this time, service remains suspended on the Green Line between Fort Totten and Prince George's Plaza stations.  Shuttle buses are substituting for trains in that area.  In addition, all Metrorail trains in above-ground areas are being slowed to 35 mph as a precaution.

Updates to follow.
