Special service advisory: Metrorail to provide additional hour of service from Gallery Place due to Madonna concert

Metrorail will provide an additional hour of service from Gallery Place and Judiciary Square stations tonight (Sun., Sept. 23) and tomorrow night due to the Madonna concerts at Verizon Center.

Following the concert, Madonna fans will be directed to Gallery Place or Judiciary Square stations to board their trains. Entrances at all other Metro stations will close at their normal times, but customers will be able to exit at all stations during the additional hour of service

Madonna fans are encouraged to enter the Metrorail system as quickly as possible following the concert. Last trains begin departing Gallery Place at 12:55 a.m. 

The extended Metrorail service is funded by an agreement with Verizon Center.
