MetroAccess service cancelled on Wednesday
Due to the expected winter storm and potentially difficult road conditions, Metro is canceling all MetroAccess paratransit service on Wednesday, March 6. Customers who wish to reschedule their trip for a future date should call the MetroAccess reservations center at 301-562-5360.
At this time, Metrorail service is planning to operate on or close to a regular weekday schedule. Metrobus service may be affected by weather conditions, including the possibility pre-planned snow route adjustments based on weather conditions. View Metrobus pre-planned snow adjustments
Metro is also encouraging customers to sign up for MetroAlerts email and text messages for up-to-the-minute information about weather-related service changes on Metrobus or Metrorail. To sign up, visit wmata.com/metroalerts.

- Before you start your trip, find out how Metro is serving your area and don't let yourself get stranded once you're out.
- Dress warmly. You may be outside longer than normal.
- Do not stand in the street while waiting for a bus.
- Use extreme caution when walking on exposed surfaces, including parking lots and station platforms. Never run for a bus or train.
- Report any unsafe conditions to a Metro employee.
