Metro service update - 12:40 p.m.
The following is a summary of Metro service as of 12:40 p.m.:
Metrorail: Trains continue to operate on a regular weekday schedule with no reported issues or delays at this time. Customers are encouraged to check wmata.com before starting their trip or sign up for MetroAlerts to receive updated information by email or text message.
Metrobus: Almost all Metrobus routes are operating normal midday service. Previously reported detours have been cleared. Check the bus alerts page for updates. Bus service is subject to change if conditions deteriorate. Customers are encouraged to sign up for MetroAlerts for their bus route to receive information about detours, delays and other changes.
MetroAccess: Due to the storm and expected difficult road conditions, MetroAccess service is susupended on Wednesday, March 6. Customers who wish to reschedule their trip for a future date should call the MetroAccess reservations center at 301-562-5360. No decision has yet been made regarding service for Thursday, March 7.
