MEDIA ADVISORY: Metro, District officials to launch new MetroExtra limited-stop bus service on MLK Avenue
WHAT: Metro will host an event to mark the launch A9 MetroExtra service, a new rush-hour limited-stop bus route along Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue SE that will operate from Livingston to McPherson Square.
The new route is an improvement to A-Line bus service, which serves more than 14,000 riders each weekday. Northbound A9 buses will operate every 15 minutes during morning rush hours; southbound buses will operate every 15 minutes during evening rush hours.
