Verizon Center, Metro announce additional hour of service following NCAA game

Extra service from Gallery Place and Judiciary Square stations

Metrorail will provide an additional hour of service from Gallery Place and Judiciary Square stations tonight (Thursday, March 28) following the NCAA 2013 East Regional games at Verizon Center.

Following the event, fans will be directed to Gallery Place or Judiciary Square stations to enter the system. Entrances at all other Metro stations will close at their normal times, but customers will be able to exit at all stations during the additional hour of service

Customers should enter the system no later than 12:50 a.m. to ensure that they make the last trains.

The extended Metrorail service is funded through an agreement with Verizon Center.
