Metro seeks input on Greenbelt-Twinbrook Metrobus service (Routes C2, C4)

Customers, transportation agencies to discuss service issues, potential solutions

Metro will host two community meetings to discuss the Greenbelt–Twinbrook Line Service Evaluation Study. The meetings are part of ongoing studies to improve Metrobus service on some of the region’s most heavily used bus lines.

At each meeting, the project team will discuss preliminary findings and potential service improvement concepts. Customers are encouraged to attend the meeting to provide input on Metrobus C2, 4 service.

The two meetings will take place:

Wednesday, April 17, 2013
5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Mid-County Services Center
2424 Reedie Drive, Wheaton, MD

Thursday, April 18, 2013
5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
First United Methodist Church
6201 Belcrest Road, Hyattsville, MD

All members of the public are welcome.  A Spanish translator and visual materials in Spanish will be available for those who request them.

The format of the meetings will be “open house,” where participants can come by at any time between the beginning and end of the meeting to offer their input; no advance registration is required. Metro hopes that the open format will promote a direct dialogue between Metrobus riders and project staff, and that the absence of a meeting schedule will appeal to those who have only a few minutes to participate.
