UPDATE: Normal Red Line service restored

Residual delays expected as trains return to normal operations

Metro has restored normal two-track operations on the Red Line.

Personnel successfully completed repairs to the third rail as of 7:50 a.m.  Trains are no longer single tracking.

Red Line customers may experience minor residual delays and more crowded trains for about the next 30 minutes as service is returns to normal.
