Metro service information for Labor Day, Monday, September 2
On Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2013, Metro will operate service on the following schedules:
- Metrorail: The system will open at 7 a.m. and close at midnight. Trains will operate on a Sunday schedule. Passengers are advised of scheduled rebuilding work on the Red and Orange lines. Off-peak fares will be in effect all day, and parking will be free at all Metrorail parking facilities.
- Metrobus: Buses will operate on a Sunday schedule. Check bus timetables for details.
- MetroAccess: All subscription trips will be cancelled on Monday. Customers wishing to travel on the holiday should make a seperate reservation.
In addition, Metro's customer information line, lost and found and customer relations call centers will be closed on the holiday.
