Metrorail update: Yellow Line service restored

Regular service resuming on all Metrorail lines

Metro has restored full service on the Yellow Line as of 8:15 p.m. All rail lines that had been adjusted due to the L'Enfant Plaza incident are resuming normal service at this time.

The incident train was moved from its location near L'Enfant Plaza shortly before 8 p.m. It is currently en route to a rail yard where it will be held out of service for the ongoing NTSB investigation.

Metro expects to provide regular weekday service on all lines tomorrow morning.
