For immediate release: February 16, 2015

MetroAccess service to be suspended as of 6 p.m. today and all day Tuesday due to winter storm

 Due to the weather forecast and expected road conditions, all MetroAccess paratransit service will be suspended as of 6 p.m. Monday, February 16 and all day on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Service will be restored when it is safe to do so; however a time for service restoration is not yet known. The MetroAccess call center is in the process of contacting affected customers to reschedule trips as needed. Customers can stay updated by signing up for MetroAlerts for MetroAccess.

Metrobus service changes for Tuesday are possible and will be announced tonight based on weather conditions and forecast. All Metro customers are encouraged to sign up for MetroAlerts email and text messages to receive this information directly.
