MEDIA ADVISORY: Full-scale emergency drill at Forest Glen Sunday Morning

Metro Transit Police and the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service will conduct a full-scale emergency response drill at Forest Glen Station on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m.

The dual exercise involving more than 100 participants will simulate two different emergency scenarios. Montgomery County Police and Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management will also take part in the drill which includes a smoke/fire incident aboard a train in the tunnel outside Forest Glen and a suspicious package aboard a Metrobus. The two drills will be conducted concurrently.
