Metro adjusts service for Sunday's Wild Card Game at FedEx Field

Orange, Blue and Silver lines to run normal weekend service starting at noon Sunday

Metro has adjusted its scheduled track work this weekend on the Orange, Blue and Silver lines to accommodate fans attending the NFL Wild Card game at FedEx Field. Starting at noon Sunday, January 10, rebuilding work on the three lines will end for the weekend, allowing trains to run on a regular Sunday schedule. (Silver Line trains, which prior to noon will end at East Falls Church, will return to their normal route between Wiehle-Reston East and Largo Town Center starting at noon.)

Scheduled work on the Red, Yellow and Green lines will continue as planned.

Morgan Boulevard Station on the Silver & Blue Lines is the closest station to FedEx Field. The station is nine-tenths of a mile from the stadium and a pedestrian walkway offers direct access to the stadium. Largo Town Center Station, also on the Silver & Blue Lines, is one mile away from the stadium.
