These murals are designed to bring a moment of brightness and joy to daily commuters. Set against a backdrop of grey concrete, the vibrant colors and geometric forms offer a visual pause-an unexpected burst of energy woven into the routine of transit. Each piece acts as a beacon, transforming the station into a more welcoming and dynamic space, and reminding passersby that even in the most utilitarian environments, color and movement can spark connection, curiosity, and a sense of place.

Jessie Unterhalter and Katey Truhn is a Baltimore-based artist team better known as Jessie and Katey. They have been creating large-scale, public murals and installations across the country since 2011.
