Permanent Detour: Dulles Toll Road, Aug 24

Route Affected: 5A
Buses will operate via the Dulles Toll Road (VA 267) and bypass the Dulles Access Road to eliminate delays, due to tollgate/transponder malfunctions. The detour will be permanent on Sunday, September 5th.
The following route will detour:
5A DC-Dulles eastbound toward L’Enfant Plaza
- Buses begin detouring on Dulles Toll Rd (VA 267 Local) at VA 267 Ramp (Washington), resuming regular route on I-66 East at Exit 73 (Lee Hwy – Key Bridge).
5A DC- Dulles westbound toward Dulles Airport
- Buses begin detouring on VA 267 West at Exit 67 (Dulles Airport North/ I-495 Baltimore), resuming regular route on Exit 11 (Fairfax County Pkwy -VA 286) at Dulles Toll Rd (VA 267).
