Effective immediately, buses will detour due to construction, Monday through Friday. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.
Street Closure:
- Irvington Street between Martin Luther King Jr Avenue SW and Ivanhoe Street
A4 Anacostia – Fort Drum northbound towards Anacostia Station
- Buses begin detouring on MLK Jr Ave SW at Irvington St, resuming regular route on First St SE at South Capitol St.
- Buses begin detouring on MLK Jr Ave SW at Irvington St, resuming regular route on MLK Jr Ave SW at Chesapeake St.
W1 Shipley Terrace – Fort Drum (loop service)
- Buses begin detouring on MLK Jr Ave SW at Irvington St, resuming regular route on First St SE at Atlantic St.
