Routes Affected: 32, 33, 70, 79, P6
From 8:00pm on Friday, April 19 through 10:00pm on Sunday, April 21, buses will detour due to the Red Bull Showrun. Routes 70 and 79 will detour on Saturday only from 12:30pm to 8:00pm. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.
Street Closures:
- 4th Street from Madison Drive NW to Pennsylvania Avenue
- 6th Street from C Street NW to Constitution Avenue
- Pennsylvania Avenue from 3rd Street NW to 7th Street
- Constitution Avenue from 3rd Street NW to 7th Street
The following routes will detour:
32 Pennsylvania Avenue eastbound towards Southern Avenue Station
36 Pennsylvania Avenue eastbound towards Naylor Road Station
- Buses begin detouring on 15th St NW at Pennsylvania Ave, resuming regular route on 14th St NW at Independence Ave.
- Buses begin detouring on Independence Ave SW at 4th St, resuming regular route on Madison Dr NW at 15th St.
P6 Anacostia – Eckington northbound towards Rhode Island Avenue Station
- Buses begin detouring on 4th St SW at I St, resuming regular route on 7th St SW at Pennsylvania Ave.
P6 Anacostia – Eckington southbound towards Anacostia Station
- Buses begin detouring on Pennsylvania Ave NW at 9th St, resuming regular route on 7th St NW at I St.
The following routes will detour on Saturday, April 20 from 12:30pm through 8:00pm only:
70, 79 Georgia Avenue – 7th Street
- Buses operate between Silver Spring Station and a bus stop located on 7th St NW at F St (stop ID #1003417).
