Twinbrook Metro Temporary Bus Loop Relocation

Advisory Effective: 7/27/25 - 11/30/25

Beginning Sunday, July 27, 2025, Metro will rehabilitate surface parking lots and the East Bus Loop at Twinbrook Station to enhance safety and improve the customer experience. During this work, customers should expect up to a 15% reduction in parking availability.

To support this work, Metro will also temporarily relocate the bus loop at Twinbrook Metro Station. All buses will be relocated from the current East Bus Loop to Chapman Ave at the lot by the parking garage.

Customer Information

• Metro staff will be on-site Sunday, July 27, and Monday, July 28 to assist customers, distribute handouts, and help riders identify their temporary bus stop locations, which are marked by letters.
• Riders should follow posted signage and allow extra time when navigating the new layout.
• Surface parking at and around the temporary bus stops will be impacted; however, limited parking will remain available.

Safety

• All temporary bus stop areas and work zones will be clearly marked. For your safety, please stay clear of construction zones and follow all posted signs.
• Be prepared for possible noise and temporary changes to pedestrian and vehicle routes during the repair work.
