By agreeing to these Metro Lift Terms and Conditions you represent that you and any members of your household that are included in your Metro Lift application are recipients of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits in either the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia at the time of submittal, and you give the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) permission to verify your household's SNAP participation.

You agree to limit the use of the Metro Lift discount to yourself and eligible members of your household and not to lend or sell a card with the Metro Lift discount to others.  WMATA, at its discretion, can remove the Metro Lift discount from any SmarTrip card if the SNAP documentation provided with the Metro Lift application is not valid or if WMATA suspects that a card with the Metro Lift discount is being used by ineligible individuals.

You further agree that the use of the SmarTrip card is subject to the existing SmarTrip terms and conditions.
