The second entrance is expected to open in spring 2027 and will improve accessibility, transfers, and rider distribution. For more information about the new entrance, please visit Arlington County’s project page.
Additionally during these closures, important maintenance will be performed on existing track infrastructure in the area, leading to National Airport and Potomac Yard stations to be closed across three of the impacted weekends.
For seven of the 10 weekends, trains will not run between Pentagon City and National Airport.
For three of the 10 weekends, trains will not run between Pentagon City and Braddock Rd.
