Temporary Detour: Wreaths Across America, December 17

Routes Affected: 16A, 16C
On Saturday, December 17 from 5am to 3pm buses will detour due to the Wreaths Across America event. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.
Street Closures:
From approximately 6:00 a.m. until 6:45 a.m.
• Northbound S. Eads Street, between 15th Street S. and 18th Street S.
From approximately 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
• Marshall Drive, between N. Meade Street and Rt. 110
• N. Meade Street will be closed from 14th Street N. to Marshall Drive – local traffic only.
• Columbia Pike will be closed from S. Joyce Street to Rotary Road
***Additional road closures will be implemented in locations along I-395, the George Washington Parkway, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, and the Pentagon Reservation by the United States Park Police, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Police, and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency.
The following routes will detour:
16A Columbia Pike
16C Columbia Pike eastbound to Pentagon
- Buses begin detouring Columbia Pike at S. Joyce St, resuming regular route at Pentagon Station.
16A Columbia Pike westbound to Annandale via Columbia Pike
16C Columbia Pike westbound to Culmore
- No Detour
