Temporary Bus Relocations at Shady Grove-East 

Advisory Effective: 3/9/26 - 3/23/26

Beginning March 9, Bus shelters D & E at Shady Grove-East bus loop will temporarily close and relocate to temporary stops T1 (Bus Shelter E) and T2 (Bus Shelter D).

Customer Information

• Bus service is temporarily relocated to Stops T1 (serving Bus Shelters E) and T2 (serving Bus Shelters D) until installation is complete.
  • If your shelter is closed, please follow the signs to temporary stop T1 or T2.
• Riders should follow posted signage directing them to the temporary stops along Shady Grove-East bus loop.

Safety

• All temporary bus stop areas and construction zones will be clearly marked. For your safety, please stay clear of work areas and follow all posted signs.
• Expect possible noise during construction work hours.

Launched in 2023 through the Bus Stop and Shelter Improvements Program, our ongoing Better Bus initiative continues replacing some of the region’s oldest bus shelters—many in place for nearly 50 years. The new shelters maintain weather protection while adding enhanced safety features such as translucent walls, LED‑lit roofs for improved visibility, and designated accessibility areas with AIDs and ADA‑compliant seating.
