Temporary Detour: FitDC HerStory 5K On March 7

Routes Affected: D10, D1X, D30, D32, D4X, D40, D44, D50, D6X, D60 

On Saturday, March 7, buses will detour from 4:00am until 1:30pm, due to the FitDC HerStory 5K. Please sign up for MetroAlerts at www.wmata.com/metroalerts for service information. 

Street Closures: 

  • 13th St from E St to Pennsylvania Ave, NW 

  • Pennsylvania Ave from 9th Street to 14th St, NW 

  • 12th St from E St to Constitution Ave, NW 

  • 11th St from E St to Pennsylvania Ave, NW 

  • 10th St from E St to Constitution Ave, NW 

  • 3rd St from Constitution Ave, NW to D St, SW 

  • Independence Ave from 3rd St to 7th St, SW 

  • Constitution Ave from 3rd St to 7th St, NW 

  • Pennsylvania Ave from 3rd St to 9th St, NW 

  • 4th St from Independence Ave to D St, SW 

  • D St from 3rd St to 4th St, SW 

The following routes will detour:  

D10 Pennsylvania Ave eastbound towards Southern Avenue 

  • Buses begin detouring on 13th St, NW at E St, resuming regular route on 3rd St, SE at Pennsylvania Ave. 

D10 Pennsylvania Ave westbound towards Kennedy Center 

  • Buses begin detouring on 6th St, SE at Pennsylvania Ave, resuming regular route on 13th St, NW at G St. 

D1X Pennsylvania Ave Limited 

  • Buses will operate between Naylor Road Station and a bus stop located on 8th St, SE at Pennsylvania Ave (stop ID # 1000654). 

D30 N Capitol St 

  • Buses will operate between Fort Totten and a bus stop located on E St, NW at 7th St (stop ID #1001011). 

D32 N Capitol St 

  • Buses will operate between Fort Totten and a bus stop located on E St, NW at 8th St (stop ID #1000997). 

D44 11 St 

  • Buses will operate between Fort Totten and a bus stop on 11th St, NW at G St (stop ID # 1001068). 

D60 16 St, D6X 16 St Limited 

  • Buses will operate between Silver Spring Transit Center and a bus stop located on 13th St, NW at G St (stop ID #1001073). 

D4X 7 St-Georgia Ave Limited 

  • Buses will operate between Silver Spring Transit Center and a bus stop located on 7th St, NW at H St (stop ID #1003418). 

D40 7 St-Georgia Ave 

  • Buses will operate between Silver Spring Transit Center and a bus stop located on 7th St, NW at F St (stop ID #1003417). 

D50 14 St northbound towards 14th St and Colorado Ave | Takoma 

  • Buses begin detouring on Maine Ave, SW at 7th St, resuming regular route on 14th St, NW at K St.  

D50 14 St southbound towards Waterfront Station 

  • Buses begin detouring on 14th St, NW at H St, resuming regular route on M St, SW at 6th St.  

Late-night service (D50 route) to L Enfant Plaza will end at 5:00am. 

 

D50 14 St northbound towards 14th and Colorado | Takoma 

  • Buses begin detouring on 7th St, SW at Frontage St, resuming regular route on 14th St, NW at K St. 

D50 14 St southbound towards L Enfant Plaza 

  • Buses begin detouring on 14th St, NW at H St, resuming regular route on 7th St, SW at E St.
