Temporary Detour: Purple Line Construction on University Blvd

On Sunday, April 5, through Thursday, April 9, from 9:00pm-5:00am nightly, buses will detour due to construction for the Purple Line project. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Please sign up for MetroAlerts at www.wmata.com/metroalerts for service information.

Street Closures:

• Intersection of University Blvd and Piney Branch Rd

The following route will detour:

M12 University Blvd eastbound towards Hyattsville Crossing

• Buses begin detouring on University Blvd at Piney Branch Rd, resuming regular route on University Blvd at Merrimac Dr.

M12 University Blvd westbound towards Twinbrook

• No detour required.
