Temporary Detour: Rock N Roll Marathon 2026 Preparations

Friday, March 20, 2026 from 5:00pm – 2:30am | Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 2:30pm - 9:00pm

Route Affected: D10

On Friday, March 20, from 5pm until 2:30am and Saturday, March 21, from 2:30pm until 9:00pm, buses will detour due to Rock and Roll Marathon preparations. Please sign up for MetroAlerts at www.wmata.com/metroalerts for service information.

Street Closures:

• Pennsylvania Ave from 3rd St to 7th St, NW
• Constitution Ave from 3rd St to 7th St, NW
• Maryland Ave from Independence Ave to 3rd St, SW
• 3rd St from Constitution Ave, NW to Independence Ave, SW
• 4th St from Madison Dr to Pennsylvania Ave, NW
• 6th St from C St to Constitution Ave, NW

The following route will detour:

D10 Pennsylvania Ave eastbound towards Southern Ave

• Buses begin detouring on Pennsylvania Ave, NW at 7th St, resuming regular route on Independence Ave, SW at 4th St.

D10 Pennsylvania Ave westbound towards Kennedy Center

• Buses begin detouring on Independence Ave, SW at 4th St, resuming regular route on Pennsylvania Ave, NW at 7th St.
