Bus Shelter Project at Twinbrook-East station

Advisory Effective: 3/2/26 - 3/15/26

On March 2nd, Metro will reopen the Twinbrook-East Bus Loop that was previously closed for repairs, for service. Bus routes providing temporary service at temporary stops G, H, J located on Chapman Ave will relocate to resume service at the east loop. Kiss & Ride on the east bus loop will reopen.

This is the updated route list for the east bus loop:

Bus Bay A - M12 Hyattsville Xing
Bus Bay B- Ride On 26 Glenmont & 26 Montgomery Mall
Bus Bay C- Ride On 45 Rockville Regional Transit Ctr
Bus Bay D- Ride On 44 Rockville

Customer Information

• Bus service list above, temporarily on Chapman Ave, will relocate to the East Bus Loop starting on March 2, 2026. Kiss and Ride will also open on March 2, 2026.
• Riders should follow posted signage directing them to the East Bus Loop and Kiss & Ride.

Safety

• All temporary bus stop areas and construction zones will be clearly marked. For your safety, please stay clear of work areas and follow all posted signs.
• Expect possible noise during construction work hours.
