Bike to Metro
We’re upgrading bike parking across the system! New lockers, smart racks, repair stations, and U racks are being added over the next few years. New amenities will be installed at Pentagon City (3/23), Braddock Rd (3/25), Foggy Bottom (3/27), Eastern Market (3/30), Fort Totten (4/1), College Park (4/7), East Falls Church (4/9), Minnesota (4/14), Largo (4/20) and Rockville (4/28) during this time. Bicycles provide a flexible last mile transportation option, extending your Metro trip. Metro's bicycle parking facilities include:
- Bicycle racks: Convenient places to lock your bicycle at most stations.
- Bike & Rides: Free, secure facilities at eight stations.
- Bicycle lockers: Upgrades are beginning to roll out to support your adventures.
- Bus bicycle racks: Located on the front of all Metrobuses.
